1.Minimum age should be 15 years on or before 31st December of the year of Admission.
2. Maximum age for admission is 35 years.
3. Must have passed Senior Secondary school certificate Examination (12 years course) or Recognized equivalent public examination. Subjects of study must be equivalent to those prescribed by CBSE for class Plus 2.
4. Should be medically fit.
5. Any other condition laid down by Indian Nursing Council, State Nursing Council/ Nursing examination board from time to time.
How to Apply:
Application must be made on prescribed application form available in the prospectus and sent to The Principal, Ashoka Institute of Nursing, Chuharpur-Kalalan, Patiala-Sangrur Road, Distt. Patiala. The complete application may be sent by registered post or submitted in the office during working hours.
Documents to be attached: (Attested Copies)
1.Matriculation examination showing date of birth.
2. 10+2 Certificate along with detailed marks.
3. Character certificate from the institute last attended.
4. Proof of residence.
5. Six recent passport size photographs.
6. List of visitors (In case of Hostellers), along with their photographs.
7. SC/ST certificate ( If applicable )
Duration of Course: 2 YEARS.
ANM course is open to females only.
Courses of Study
Fee Structure: As per Government norms.
1. Candidates shall deposit their fees within 2 days of their selection
2. Fee and other charges, once paid, are not refundable.
3. Fee structure can be revised at any time.
4. Fee and other charges must be paid by 7th of each month, Otherwise late fees of Rs.25/- per day shall be charged.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission to ANM Examination
1. A candidate must have minimum of 80% attendance (irrespective of the kind of absence) in Theory and practical in each subject for appearing in the examination.
2. A candidate must have 100% attendance in each of practical areas before the award of Course completion certificate
Grading and Certification
Distinction in aggregate - 75% and above First Division - 70% and above Second Division - 60% and above Third Division (Pass) - 50% and 59%
Qualified ANMs have to be registered with the State Nursing Councils before joining services as a qualified female Health worker and to practice as ANM.
